In episode 5 of Taiwan Offshore Wind Unredacted, Angelica Oung interviews Aaron Smith, the Chief Commercial Officer at Principle Power. Aaron heads the New Business & Innovation business unit, with overall responsibility for Strategy, Innovation, Business Development, Marketing, and Public Affairs.

Prior to joining Principle Power, Aaron was an Economist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where he directed a portfolio of work designed to identify high-value R&D opportunities for land-based and offshore wind technologies. Principle Power is a market leader in floating offshore wind technology, with 70 MW in operation and 30 MW under construction, as well as a multi-GW commercial pipeline globally.

In this interview Angelica and Aaron touch on his background and introduction to offshore wind at a young age, some of the exciting work Principle Power is involved in and other developments in the offshore wind industry in Taiwan, Asia and globally.
