With this year's auctions in the rearview mirror and the construction season just about over (except for the most masochistic crews), it's time for us to take stock of the year that was in Taiwan's Offshore Wind Development.

Let us start by reviewing all four of the projects under construction in Taiwan in 2022:

After a delayed start to the season due to lingering COVID-19 restrictions, the Greater Changhua 1 & 2a project moved quickly. But with 111 Wind Turbine Generators to install, it became clear early in the season it was unlikely to be complete in construction season 2022.
